MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — A woman was hospitalized over the weekend after being hit by a car in the Colesville area, police said.
Montgomery County Police said the pedestrian crash took place Sunday, with officers responding shortly after 12 p.m. to the 100 block of Norwood Road.
The woman was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. Authorities did not detail the extent of her injuries.
The driver of the striking vehicle, who was not identified, stayed at the scene.
Police have not said whether any charges are pending in the case.
