Anthony Brown Endorsed By Montgomery County Councilmembers
U.S. Rep. Anthony G. Brown is one of four candidates vying for the job of Maryland's next attorney general.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Montgomery County Council President Gabe Albornoz and County Councilmember Andrew Friedson this week endorsed Congressman Anthony G. Brown in his bid to become Maryland’s next attorney general.
Albornoz and Friedson join Montgomery County Councilmembers Will Jawando, Sidney Katz, Craig Rice, and former Montgomery County Councilmember Valerie Ervin who've endorsed Congressman Brown’s candidacy.
“Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and his decades-long career, Anthony has been a champion for equity and justice in our communities. He is not someone content to stand by when he sees injustice. He’s an advocate for the vulnerable and will fight tooth and nail to ensure every community in Maryland gets the resources they need,” said Montgomery County Council President Gabe Albornoz. “As our next Attorney General, Congressman Brown will push to ensure a fair playing field for every Marylander, in public health, public safety, education, transportation and beyond.”
