Cathy & Marcy's 27th Annual Winter Family Concert This Weekend!

Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer's 27th Annual Winter Family Concert with Special Guest Robbie Schaefer - Saturday, November 24th at 2:00 PM in Rockville at Saint Mark Presbyterian Church

To kick off the holiday season, take time this Saturday, November 24th to enjoy some music with Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer (local folk/family musicians,Grammy-winners and multiple WAMMY winners) and their special guest, Robbie Schaefer at Saint Mark Presbyterian Church in Rockville (10701 Old Georgetown Rd., Rockville, MD 20852).  This will not be a program of holiday music, rather music from the vast repertoire of Cathy & Marcy's 30+ year career along with some tunes chosen by Robbie as well.

Cathy & Marcy are trailblazers in children's and family music as well as roots music. They play dozens of instruments from banjos to mandolins to rockin' electric guitar, steel drum and ukulele.  Together they have made more than 50 recordings, helping generations of families grow together with music. Playing dozens of instruments from banjos to mandolins to electric guitar and ukulele, they sing, yodel, scat and chicken cluck in harmony, inspiring effortless participation from every audience.

You may know Robbie as a member of Eddie from Ohio, or his time with Sirius XM Kids, but you may not know about his newest endeavor bringing children from around the world together with music through OneVoice. He is the Executive Director and founder of the organization, based on the premise that children, through music, can make the world a better - and smaller - place. Cathy & Marcy wish to honor Robbie for sowing the seeds of peace, joy and love to kids all over the world through music with OneVoice www.onevoicecommunity.org.
