Think plumbing is low tech? Not so! Here's a handful of the latest and greatest plumbing trends.
1. Quiet-Close Toilet Seats: This invention is quickly becoming a "must have" for many homeowners. With a gentle touch, the seat slowly closes, yet there is one drawback: When staying with friends or in hotels, you could find yourself accidentally slamming down a traditional toilet seat, so be careful!
2. Watertile Body Sprays: These unique body sprays, which are manufactured by Kohler, differ from traditional body sprays in that they're pratically flush to the wall. Hence, they don't intrude into your showering space and look more modern and appealing than standard sprays.

3. Air Bath Roman Tubs: Conventional jetted tubs, which pump water through pipes, are losing popularity. And, have you ever noticed that black gunk that oozes from the pipes after the tub sits unused for a few weeks? New air baths eliminate this potentially unsanitary condition, as water doesn't remain in the pipes and air is injected into the water.
4. Touch-less Faucets: Ever think about the germs left on your faucet handles? These electronic versions can help keep the hardware clean and your hands cleaner by eliminating contact with the faucet. We've all used them in restaurants and hotels and they're great for kids' bathrooms. Shortly, they'll be coming to a kitchen near you.

5. Custom Shower Packages: These packages include handshowers, bodysprays, showerheads, etc.. Traditional custom showers were designed by pulling together various elements you desired, but now, many manufacturers offer their most popular showering components in convenient pre-configured packages.
