Burglary of 56 Storage Units Yields Three Arrests
When police checked on an empty box truck with its engine running, they caught three suspects from Greenbelt and DC inside a business.

Three men allegedly stole a box truck to haul away their loot from a break-in at Self Storage Plus in Rockville – and then their trouble began.
Officers from the Rockville City Police Department were called Nov. 25 to check on an unoccupied box truck that was parked at 14674 Southlawn Lane, with its motor running. The truck’s ignition had been tampered with; it was reported stolen from a nearby location, police say.
A short time later, police received a report of a burglary in progress at the nearby storage business, 14690 Southlawn Lane. An employee told police he saw three men breaking locks off numerous storage units. A rear exterior door had been pried open.
