Shannon Leigh and The Good Bygones are rising stars in the DC area bluegrass scene. They play a high-energy and eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary bluegrass, influenced by country, folk, and blues that is sure to get you on your feet. Shannon Leigh Reynolds fronts the band and leads with strong vocals reminiscent of a bygone era. She is backed by a talented group of musicians, including Keith Arneson on banjo, whose style is both playful and fiery - and lightning fast when needed, Will Sears, who can make his fiddle cry or get your toes tapping with a rousing fiddle tune, and Mary Naden who holds it all together with the bass. The band is sure to be your next favorite!
Shannon recently released her album, "Triple Shot," to much acclaim, and it stayed on the FAI folk charts for three months in late 2023, peaking at #4. Both Shannon and her album are nominated for Wammie awards in the Folk/Bluegrass category.
