For more than 30 years, Washington native, veteran blues guitarist Linwood Taylor has performed &amp; toured internationally fronting his own band as well as a 2-year stint as guitarist in the Joe Louis Walker Band. Linwood has performed on stage with some of the biggest names in blues:&nbsp; Albert Collins, Lonnie Mack, Eddie Kirkland, and the Blues Brothers (played the Capitol July 4th Concert) to name just a few.&nbsp; Linwood was featured on the cover of&nbsp;Washington Post Magazine&nbsp;in their story highlighting the “Year of the Blues” and over 20 years ago, he was honored in&nbsp;Living Blues Magazine&nbsp;as one of the “Top 40 Under 40” blues guitarists.
Wolf Crescenze - Bass Wolf began playing bass with various bands in the Washington, DC area during the garage-band era of the 1960s, most notably with Sassafras Tea. David Thaler - drums - David Thaler powered the groove of Washington, DC’s award‑winning Bad Influence Band for more than 25 years, anchoring their high‑energy “DC‑style” blues sound with deep pocket and drive. A veteran of the mid‑Atlantic blues scene, he’s been heard on multiple Bad Influence albums and countless club and festival stages, from intimate rooms to major blues events. Thaler’s drumming combines classic blues feel with a modern edge, giving every song a strong backbeat, tasteful dynamics, and a serious dose of swagger.

Born to Cuban exiles and raised in Fort Lauderdale, founded The Silos in 1985 after cutting his teeth in Gainesville’s college scene. Blending Southern rock warmth with New York’s avant-garde edge, The Silos’ early albums—About Her Steps (1986), Cuba (1987), and The Silos (1990)—became cornerstones of the emerging alt-country movement, earning Rolling Stone’s 1987 Critics’ Poll for Best New American Band.
Over the decades, Salas-Humara has collaborated with Alejandro Escovedo, Michael Hall, and many others, releasing acclaimed records like Hasta la Victoria!, Curve and Shake, and WALTERIO. His music merges vivid storytelling, poetic realism, and raw emotion across folk, punk, and Americana traditions.
Also a visual artist, Salas-Humara brings the same humor, heart, and authenticity to his paintings that define his songs—charting a lifelong exploration of American life, both sonic and visual.

<h2><a href="https://annettewasilik.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Annette Wasilik</a>&nbsp;</h2>Annette has been writing songs ever since she found a Sears Silvertone abandoned in a tin wardrobe in the basement when she was 14. &nbsp;"Songwriting," Annette says, "is like diving for pearls. I sink down and let my emotions lead into melody which leads to phrasing and lyrics. Later the editing comes in." She began performing locally but when her daughter was small, Annette stopped, turning&nbsp;her focus to building a massage practice and caring for her family. Later when she was able to turn her full attention to her music, she dug in. Her debut album,&nbsp;Songs from the Talking House &nbsp;won Contemporary Folk Recording of the Year from The Washington Area Music Association in 2016. Her 2020 recording, Love &amp; Fire released at #6 on the FolkDJ chart and #1&nbsp;on the NACC chart and landed #40 on Folk DJ chart&nbsp;for the year.

Hank Dietle’s has been a labor of love for fans of the county’s oldest licensed bar for many years, serving up cold beer and warm memories since the 1916 store reopened as Hank Dietle’s Tavern in 1950. As development pressures were wiping out history along the pike, longtime fan Tony Huniak took over in 1990 to keep our beloved bar going. When the Quarry House burned in 2015, Tony welcomed Rockabilly Saturday Night to a new venue on the pike, carving out space for dancing in a homey social setting that proved a perfect fit for fans of live roots &amp; retro music. After Hank Dietle’s suffered a devastating fire in February 2018, fans rallied again to save the irreplaceable roadhouse. Chantal “Kiti” Gartner set up a Go Fund Me website to help the out of work employees and teamed with Mark Segraves and others to organize a benefit concert to launch a reconstruction effort. Thanks to their tireless efforts and many fans who contributed, the roof was repaired, the porch rebuilt, critical electrical work done, and interior walls rebuilt. Building on their efforts, three devotees of the historic tavern, Tommy Bowes, Sarah Bonner, and Alan Kresse, along with Gina Cocco, Lisa White, and Tom Helf, teamed up to complete work on the interior, recreate our beloved “Hank Dietle’s Cold Beer” sign, and get the institution rolling again. All are long-time supporters of Maryland’s live music and dance scene—musicians, promoters and entrepreneurs dedicated to ensuring that Hank Dietle’s rides again.
