Swedish-born bluesman Robert Lighthouse has spent decades immersed in the raw traditions of Mississippi Delta blues. Arriving in the U.S. at 18, he traveled through legendary blues hubs like Chicago’s Maxwell Street and New Orleans before settling in Washington, DC in 1988, where he built a devoted following as a street performer and club musician.
A two-time DC representative at the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge, Robert released his acclaimed debut Drive-Thru Love in 1998, followed by Deep Down in the Mud in 2007, both earning strong critical praise. His sound is deeply rooted, soulful, and unmistakably authentic.
Bassist Randy Ball anchors the trio with a rich blend of blues and swing, performing regularly across Maryland and collaborating with groups including The Hi-Jivers and B&B Swing.
Drummer Paul Dudley is a highly regarded professional drummer based in the Washington, D.C./DMV region. He is best known for his deep pocket and versatile style, performing regularly with the award-winning funk, blues, and soul band Sol Roots and the instrumental jazz/fusion group Vinyl Horizon
