Car Crashes Into Paisano's Pizza, 1 Injured
A car crashed through the front wall of Paisano's Pizza in Rockville, injuring one customer inside the restaurant, officials say.
ROCKVILLE, MD — A customer inside a Rockville restaurant was injured Tuesday when a car went out of control and crashed through the front wall of Paisano's Pizza in the Wintergreen Plaza shopping area. The accident happened about noon at the business, located at 891 Rockville Pike, according to Pete Piringer, spokesman for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services.
Emergency crews checked over the car's driver one patron in the pizza place, he said. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
A building inspector was at the scene to check the amount of damage to the structure. There is no word yet on the estimated damage amount or if charges will be filed.
