CCACC just held an Annual Retreat to discuss the company’s mission and the plan to achieve its goals. The meeting was filled with meaningful discussion as well as a special recognition of four board members.
The Annual Retreat was held on Saturday, March 23 at CCACC’s headquarters where present board members, senior consultants, and administrative staff were present – a total of 19 people. CCACC hopes to better serve Asian Americans in the community, spread the Chinese culture, and facilitate the flow of Chinese and Western culture. In the past 36 years, CCACC has continuously dedicated its time and effort on these goals. Currently, they have seven major divisions that are working together towards this shared vision. Each division manager provided useful analysis to help CCACC grow in the face of challenge. Although the goal and direction of each division is different, they come together under one shared vision. CCACC’s overarching goal is to care with love and compassion, serve with sincerity and integrity, and thrive on joy and harmony.
After a day of planning and discussion, goals were set and plans were created to help CCACC advance towards its vision. During dinner, Chang Zhao (chairman of the board) specially presented a gift of thanks to four retired board members – Dr. Yuchi Huang, Dr. Edward Wan, Dr. Ruey-Pyng Lu, and Dr. Chyang Fang.

There was also another heartwarming event that night; Chang Zhao presented a newlywed plaque for board member Donna Chang. The plaque had the words “Long lasting like the water, sweet like irises an orchids” along with the signature of the division managers and board members.
