Chesterbrook Academy Preschoolers Donate Food to Local Nonprofit

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Olney recently donated more than 200 pounds of food to Manna Food Center in Gaithersburg to help stock the organization’s shelves and feed local families in need during the holiday season. During the school-wide food drive, students learned about different food groups while helping to sort and prepare the items for delivery. Through their efforts, students learned the importance of helping others in the community.

Manna Food Center works to fight hunger, feed hope and transition Montgomery County residents from a place of scarcity to prosperity by providing safe, sufficient and nutritious food.
