Chesterbrook Academy Students Raise $260 for Cancer Research

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Olney recently raised $260 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization that has funded more than 1,000 grants providing research, treatment and support for children and their families fighting cancer. Students held a lemonade stand in their school to benefit the organization, and were able to surpass their initial donation goal of $200. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping other children in need.
