Child Sex Abuse Suspect Tried To Bribe County Investigator: Police

A woman being investigated for initiating sexual abuse against a child was arrested for bribing a county official, according to police.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Police arrested a 42-year-old Rockville woman who they say tried to bribe a Child Welfare Services employee last month.

An assessment social worker was assigned to investigate claims that Al Hadidi had initiated sexual abuse against a child, according to police.

On July 26, Al Hadidi said she had a gift for the investigator and then presented the county employee with a large amount of cash, according to police. After refusing the money, the investigator reported the incident.

Police charged Al Hadidi with obstruction of justice and bribery, and then gave her a summons to appear in court.
