Chipotle To Donate March 28 Proceeds To Gaithersburg Scholarship Program

Chipotle diners can help the City of Gaithersburg raise funds to support the W. Edward Bohrer Jr. Memorial Scholarship Program.

ROCKVILLE, MD — If you dine at the Chipotle in Fallsgrove Village Center in Rockville Tuesday, you can help the City of Gaithersburg raise funds to support the W. Edward Bohrer Jr. Memorial Scholarship Program.

Chipotle is donating half of the proceeds from qualified sales between 5-9 p.m. to the program.

The W. Edward Bohrer Jr. Memorial Scholarship Program grants the CHARACTER COUNTS! Scholarship to six high school seniors based on the Six Pillars of Character, personal merit, financial need and the student's commitment to further education.

The program was established in 1998 by the family of the former Gaithersburg Mayor Ed Bohrer. Since then, 74 high school seniors have received more than $140,000 to help with their continuing education costs.

Chipotle diners must present this fundraiser flyer or show the flyer on their smart phone in order for the purchase to qualify.

The Chipotle is located at 14925 Shady Grove Road, in the Fallsgrove Village Center near Shady Grove Hospital.
