CVS, MOM's Organic Market Coming to Rockville Development
The Upper Rock District will become the home of a MOM's Organic Market and a pharmacy by 2017.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Demolition has begun at the site of Rockville’s next MOM's Organic Market, as well as a CVS Pharmacy, in a development that combines office and retail space with apartments.
Clearing space for the market and pharmacy is the final step for the Upper Rock District by the JBG Companies.
The development is located near the Shady Grove Metro station and right off I-270 and Shady Grove Road, the company says. Included in the Upper Rock District mix are open spaces, public art, offices, 522 apartments, and finally, retail.

The Washington Business Journal says the market and pharmacy will replace the Choke Cherry office building being torn down. Construction is scheduled to begin this fall.
MOM’s Organic Market should open in the fall of 2017, CVS is scheduled to open in mid-2017.
