Death of 73-Year-Old Man Ruled a Homicide

Takoma Park Police are investigating the death of 73-year-old Cecil Brown as a homicide, says Montgomery Community Media.

On Monday, police received two reports of a disturbance in the 800 block of Colby Avenue.

When officers arrived at the scene about 12:30 p.m., they found Brown dead in his backyard.

On Tuesday, police said the medical examiner had determined that the cause of death was blunt force trauma and the manner of death a homicide.

The police investigation continues.
