Dentist Seeking Child Sex Receives Probation
Former dentist Vagar Choudry of Germantown was sentenced to two years probation for arranging to have sex with a 12-year-old in Hagerstown.

A former Germantown dentist who reportedly planned to have sex with a 12-year-old girl in exchange for prescription painkillers and cash was sentenced to two years of probation.
Vagar Choudry, 44, was sentenced to serve five years in prison, reports the Hagerstown Herald Mail, but the entire prison term was suspended Thursday by a Washington County Circuit Court judge.
A jury in September convicted Choudry of sexual solicitation of a minor, reports WTOP.

Police arrested him at a motel near his Hagerstown office in 2012; authorities say he had arranged to meet an informant who had posed as a child at the motel.
Choudry’s state dentistry license was suspended in 2013.
