(Update): 'Deranged' Man In Custody For Threats Against Judge, Courthouse
Montgomery County Police arrested a man who said he was going to drive into a Rockville courthouse.

(Updated at 9:20 a.m. Friday) ROCKVILLE, MD — Police arrested a "deranged" man who said he was going to harm multiple people in Montgomery County late Thursday morning.
Police received a call about a man who was threatening harm to a Montgomery County judge and other people in at least one other location, Captain Starks said.
According to WJLA, the man called the Maryland Child Support Enforcement Administration's main hotline in Baltimore County and threatened to kill his estranged wife, three-year-old son and harm a Montgomery County Circuit Court judge during the phone call.

The man said he had an explosive device and was going to use it, according to Starks.
Sources say the man threatened to blow up the MSL International Childcare Center in Germantown and the 51 Monroe Building in Rockville, which is where Montgomery Count'y child support office is located.

No device was located in his vehicle, Starks said. The man's vehicle was searched by members from the Fire Rescue service to ensure there was no explosive device in his vehicle.
All roads previously closed due to police and fire activity on Great Falls Rd near I-270 are now open.
Officers tracked the man's location using GPS coordinates coming from his cellphone. Police saw his vehicle and arrested him near Maryland Avenue and Great Falls Road.
Captain Starks said the incident might have stemmed from a custody situation, and that the man allegedly may be claiming he's not eligible for a tax return and may be behind in child support payments.
Police are not able to confirm the man's identity as of now, Starks said.

As of 12:23 p.m., Montgomery County Police said the suspect is in custody for threatening various locations and possibly people in Montgomery County.
ABC7 News reports that the incident took place on Falls Road at I-270 late Thursday morning.
There's a heavy police presence at the scene, as well as the bomb squad.
Montgomery County MD Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security reports that the police investigation closed both directions of Falls Road (MD 189) from Great Falls Road to 1-270.
Montgomery Police said these roads are closed: Potomac Valley Road and Maryland Ave; Great Falls Road and Petal Way; and 1-270 onto Great Falls Road.
Drivers should expect delays and seek an alternative route.
