Donate Used Bikes, Helmets For Rockville Kids On Friday
The Rockville Bike Hub will refurbish donated bicycles and give them to residents in need. Donate on Oct. 20 at the Council Office Building.

ROCKVILLE, MD — The Montgomery County Department of Transportation is sponsoring a bicycle donation event for all residents on Friday, Oct. 20, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the Council Office Building parking garage at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville.
The county will accept used bicycles, bicycle parts, and bike helmets. All items collected will be donated to The Rockville Bike Hub, a non-profit organization whose volunteers refurbish the bikes and then donate them to low-income residents in the county, including Rockville’s Terrific Kids program and participants in the County’s Linkages to Learning program.
