Don't Be This Guy, Clear Snow Off Vehicle: Police
Montgomery County Police remind drivers that being on the road with snow and ice on your car is a hazard to others and against the law.

ROCKVILLE, MD — If you are lucky enough to love on a street that’s been plowed and can’t stay in the house another second, think twice before you drive.

Have you removed all the snow from your car? Montgomery County Police shared a funny but all-too-necessary video reminding drivers that chieseling a window out of the snow isn’t safe.
Police want drivers to clear snow from windows, exterior mirrors, lights, the roof, and license plate.

In Maryland, a driver can be issued a traffic citation for driving with an obstructed view, which includes signs and non-transparent material on windshield, side wings, or side or rear windows of vehicle.
But, regardless of the possibility of a fine/ticket, you can’t see other drivers and they can’t see you... It’s just unsafe, say police.
And one last caution: Don’t take photos of snow-covered vehicles while you’re driving.
