The Priddy Library at the Universities at Shady Grove is calling for art work the uses materials that are or can be recycled (e.g. organic canvases, vegetable dyes), and/or objects that were intended for trash. Curated by Roxana Martin, Independent Curator. Open to all artists, 18 and older in the United States. All original works created by submitting artists in the last 5 years. Fine art only. No craft. All pieces framed, wired and ready to hang/ White or ivory mats only. Art pieces no to exceed 58 inches every way. Small sculptures accepted. No entry fee. Deadline for suibmission: August 27, 2012.
