“Carlton Leverette: Ceramic Excursions”

VisArts at Rockville presents an exhibition featuring the sculptural ceramic art of Carlton Leverette. “Ceramic Excursions” showcases pieces executed with intelligence, passion and meticulous attention to the smallest details of design and finish. Awash with inventive combinations of patterns and colorful glazes, his platters, vases and other vessels exude a bold elegance. Leverette is a professor of art at Baltimore Community College, where he has taught ceramics for more than 30 years.

Exhibition will be on view in the VisArts Common Ground Gallery, second floor.
