
The University of Baltimore, in partnership with the Universities at Shady Grove, will host a site for the annual gaming industry event, Global Game Jam. This event features a competition in which a group of 30 designers developers and artists will compete in teams to create the most impressive video game possible in only 48 hours. Competitors include participants ranging from high-school students to industry professionals.
The winning game will be selected at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 30.
Special guest speakers include, Ben Walsh, CEO and President of Pure Bang Games at 4:00 p.m., Jan. 28 and Barry Caudill, Executive Producer at Firaxis at 6:00 p.m., Jan. 28.
