“Hsin-Hsi Chen: Transition”

Artist Hsin-Hsi Chen’s extraordinary drawings precipitate a journey across planes of light and shadow into spaces that teeter between illusion and reality. “Transition” marks Chen’s experimentation with scale and surface. Pushing beyond the intimate scale of her pencil drawings, the work engages the space of the gallery in ways that more fully immerse the viewer in her world.

Exhibition will be on view in the VisArts Gibbs Street Gallery, first floor. Reception and Artist’s Talk on Friday, February 10 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
