This jazz event will feature the popular Jefferson Street Strutters. Sponsored by the Potomac River Jazz Club, PRJC. Lead by Steve Luchter, the "Strutters" repertoire is a varied mix of popular 20s and 30s jazz classics plus oft-requested New Orleans favorites. Toss in some gospel at both slower and more upbeat but danceable tempos and the resulting blend makes for a toe-tapping, happy music session.
Seating area for listening and room for dancing (or running for those under a certain age!)
Held at the Rosensteel Knights of Columbus of Silver Spring. All are welcome.
