Victorian Lyric Opera Company performs Mademoiselle Modiste a stage concert with orchestra. They story follows Paris hat shop clerk, Fifi, (Mademoiselle Modiste), who is engaged to marry the son of the hat shop’s owner (Madame Cecile), but Fifi is in love with the aristocrat Etienne, who cannot marry below his social class.
Performances will be held on Friday, Sept. 2 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 3 at 8 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 4 at 2 p.m.
