"Summertime" Art Exhibit

Landscape artist Barbara French Pace offers
a "Summertime" experience in her new exhibit at the Yellow Barn Gallery at Glen Echo. Working primarily in oil, the artist uses subtle colors and smooth transitions to capture the effects of light and lend a sense of calm. Her paintings invite viewers to climb ancient steps, walk through tall grasses, contemplate lake reflections, marvel at dramatic cliffs, and feel the tides against distant shores. Even urban scenes feel quiet as if lost in time.

Pace has studied art locally and in Italy. She draws
inspiration from extensive travels, including overseas workshops with artist colleagues. Twice selected as artist-in-residence at the Stone Tower Studio at Glen Echo, she exhibits her work regularly at Waverly Street Gallery in
Bethesda and numerous other locations in the mid-Atlantic region. To see more of her work, visit: www.barbarapace-art.com.
