Father Dead, Son Wounded In Apparent Murder-Suicide Attempt: Cops
Police found an 89-year-old father dead with a gunshot wound and his son critically wounded, also shot, in a commuter parking lot.

NORBECK, MD — Police are investigating an apparent murder and attempted suicide shooting in a parking lot on Norbeck Road, according to a press release. Police and rescue personnel responded soon after 4 p.m. to the Park and Ride commuter lot a quarter mile east of Georgia Avenue on Saturday, Aug. 4.
Police arrived to find a Toyota Prius with two men in the front seats, later discovered to be father and son who lived together in nearby Leisure World. Thomas Willey, 89, was dead when police arrived. Greg Willey, 67, was transported to the hospital in critical condition from a gunshot wound.
Police found a note they believe Greg Willey wrote, as well as a handgun near him.

The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy on Thomas Willey in Baltimore to confirm the cause and manner of death.
