Free Pet Adoptions At Montgomery County Animal Shelter
If you've been wanting to adopt a new pet, here's a great chance to save on dogs, cats, lizards and more.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — If you're looking to adopt a pet, here's a great chance. The Montgomery County Animal Service and Adoption Center is waiving adoption fees for all animals until Oct. 25, the center said, meaning you can save up to $150.
To take advantage, go to the adoption center where you'll be interviewed and walk around the shelter to pick an animal. If everything lines up, you can take the animal home the same day.
A behavior specialist spends time with every animal they have to assess it and help ensure they're a good fit for the adopter. If you have a dog, they want you to bring it in so they can see how your current dog, and potential new dog, get along.
