Get Rid Of Expired, Unused Drugs In Rockville: Oct. 26
On Oct. 26, you can safely get rid of expired and unwanted prescription drugs at the Rockville City Police Station.
ROCKVILLE, MD — Local authorities are offering a safe and anonymous way for the public to get rid of leftover and expired prescription drugs.
Rockville police and Montgomery County sheriffs are teaming up with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, an initiative designed to provide easy and responsible means of disposal, keep our drinking water clean, and educate people about prescription drug abuse and theft. The event is on Saturday, Oct. 26.
You can dispose of your prescription drugs in the Rockville City Police Station parking lot (2 West Montgomery Ave.) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
Police say the DEA will not accept illegal drugs, liquids, needles, syringes, or sharps — only pills or patches.
