UPDATED at 4:10 p.m. ROCKVILLE, MD — Ready to get out and take the family to see some holiday lights? You have several options in Montgomery County:

Garden of Lights at Brookside Gardens

Brookside Gardens, 1800 Glenallan Ave. in Wheaton, celebrates its 19th season. See more than one million lights shaped into hand-crafted, art forms of flowers, animals and other natural elements. Stroll from garden to garden enjoying twinkling tree forms, fountains, sparkling snowflakes overhead and more. Hours through January 1: Sunday - Thursday: 5:30 - 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday: 5:30 – 10 p.m. Open every night except Dec. 24 and 25.

Admission: $25 per car Sunday – Thursday; $30 per car Friday – Saturday

Winter Lights at Seneca Creek State Park

Seneca Creek State Park, 11950 Clopper Road in Gaithersburg. The Gaithersburg Winter Lights Festival, in its 21st season, is open 6 to 10 p.m. nightly through Dec. 31; closed Dec. 25. The 3.5 mile drive through Seneca Creek State Park takes you past more than 380 illuminated displays and 65 animated vignettes that light up the night. Themed areas include Winter Woods, Teddy Bear Land, Victorian Village, and the North Pole.

Fees: $12 per carload Sunday – Thursday; $15 Friday – Saturday; limos and 20-passenger vans: $20; mini-buses: $30; and buses (30 seats or more): $70.

Festival of Lights at the Mormon Temple

Visit the temple at 9900 Stoneybrook Drive in Kensington from dusk to 10 p.m. nightly through January 3, 2017. Free admission. View more than 450,000 lights and a live outdoor Nativity scene. Live musical performances begin at 7 and 8 p.m.

King Farm Village Center Holiday Laser Light Show

The first King Farm Village Center Holiday Laser Light Show is planned for 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, and will include a dazzling laser light animation and special effects set to classic holiday songs. The free event is planned for King Farm Boulevard at Pleasant Drive, on the Village Green in Rockville.

The schedule of events is:

7-7:55 pm Neon Rain and Nauseous Hippos Perform
Free glow sticks from Anna, Elsa and Olaf
Complimentary hot chocolate, eggnog and treats.

7:55 KFVC Shopping Spree winner announced

8 pm Laser Light Show begins

Guests can expect live music, your favorite holiday tunes, special guest appearances by Frozen characters, free holiday glow sticks, and complimentary hot beverages and sweet treats.
