Homicide Case Opened After Police Find Body Of Missing Rockville Woman
Police are investigating the death of a 20-year-old Rockville woman whose body was found in Upper Paint Branch Stream Valley Park.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Police have started a homicide investigation after discovering the body of a 20-year-old Rockville woman on Saturday who was reported missing on Jan. 2 according to a release.
Keylin Yolibeth Chavez-Dominguez was last seen by her friends and family around 6 p.m., on Dec. 30 in her apartment in the 12300 block of Braxfield Court, according to police. A witness told police that they saw Chavez-Dominguez leaving her apartment with an unidentified man on Dec. 31.
Officers from the Montgomery County Police Department, Maryland-National Park Police – Montgomery County Division, and Maryland Transportation Authority Police responded around 2:01 p.m. on Saturday for the report of a suspicious situation at Upper Paint Branch Stream Valley Park in College Park. When police arrived, they located the body of a deceased woman.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of Chavez-Dominguez's death, according to police.
