Human Bones Found By Man Walking Dog In Rockville: Police
The man found the human skeletal remains while walking his dog in Rockville Tuesday, according to authorities.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Police say bones found by a man walking his dog in Rockville Tuesday are human, and officials are asking for the public's help in identifying the decedent.
At around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Montgomery County police responded to a report of discovered skeletal remains in a wooded area near Shady Grove Road and Procera Drive, officials said. Upon arrival, investigators determined the remains were human.
The remains were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner Office in Baltimore for an autopsy, which may reveal the manner and cause of death, the person's sex and other identifying characteristics.

Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying the person. Police said the following personal items were spotted with the skeletal remains:
- A blue sweatshirt with the words QUEBECOR PRINTING (USA) CORP. printed on the front
- A green- or black-colored San Antonio Spurs cap
- Blue and white Asics GEL-Kayano runnings shoes, size 11
Police are investigating the incident, and ask anyone with information about the person's identify or the undetermined death to call Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070. Those who call will remain anonymous.
