Interfaith Works Holds Caregivers Conference

Impact Poverty! Building on Experience, Equipping for Change

Interfaith Works' 20th Caregivers Conference is May 4 at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington, 6125 Montrose Road, Rockville. Registration is available on-site. Cost is $50/attendee, which includes lunch.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Faith leaders and congregational staff; service providers; representatives of the philanthropic and business community; school counselors; advocates; policymakers; and concerned community members.

Workshops will focus on topics that include: Health Care Access; Escaping the Cycle of Poverty; the Role of Schools in Fighting Poverty; Immigration; Trauma-Informed Care and Behavioral Health; and Technology for Employment and Training.

Guest speakers include County Executive Isiah Leggett and futurist Eric Meade.
