Last Day to Donate to Rockville Holiday Drive

The last day to donate toys for Rockville kids in need is Thursday, Dec. 11, at City Hall or community centers.

During the annual Rockville Holiday Drive, with the help of donors and volunteers, the Community Services Division collects and distributes Thanksgiving meals in November and toys and gifts in December to hundreds of children and families in Rockville, according to the city website.

How you can help: Make a contribution

• Purchase canned food or new toys
• Donate $20 gift certificates to Giant or Target
• Send a tax-deductible contribution (checks may be made payable to the Holiday Drive Fund):

How you can help: Volunteer

• Sort toys and assist recipient families at the December Toy Shop
• Organize a toy drive to collect new, unwrapped toys
