Local Non-Profit Holds 1st Ever Charity Golf Tournament

Local golf enthusiasts gathered together on at the Richland Golf Club to swing for a good cause on June 2nd.

Non-profit organization Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC) hosted their first-ever Pan Asian Clinic Charity Golf Cup in order to raise money for the Pan Asian Volunteer Health Clinic (PAVHC) to help expand their healthcare services to reach more low-income and uninsured members of the community.

Organization and planning for the tournament was led by CCACC board member Charles Chen and US Chinese Golf Association (USCGA) chairperson Jimmy Loh, who wanted to use their passion for golf to help support a good cause. Following their lead, CCACC staff and volunteers dedicated their time and efforts to make this event a success.

Many members of the community gathered to enjoy a fun day of golf while sponsoring to support PAVHC’s mission to help those in need. Even the rain couldn’t dampen their spirit as they continued playing through the rainy afternoon.

After a long day on the green, the players settled down to enjoy dinner while looking back on their day. The evening ended with an auction for various works of Chinese art, pottery, and antiques, as well as golf products.
