Friday, February 20

• The Embassy of El Salvador celebrates 23rd Anniversary of the Peace Agreement at Montgomery College’s Cultural Arts Center in Silver Spring at 6:30 p.m.
• Take a 45-minute dance lesson and then join in the Salsa and Bachata dance party at the BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown at 7:30 p.m.
• The SoundConnection band performs at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club at 8 p.m.
• Olney Theatre’s production of Godspell conintues with a show at 8 p.m.
• Round House production of Rapture, Blister, Burncontines at 8 p.m. in Bethesda
• Harry Connick, Jr. performs at Strathmore Music Center in North Bethesda at 8 p.m.
• Montgomery Playhouse’s production of Boeing, Boeingopens at Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn at 8 p.m.

Saturday, February 21

• Rockville’s Youth Diversity Leadership workshop takes plavce at City Hall. Reserviations required.
• Enjoy the family-friendly performances and drop-in art activities celebrating the Lunar New Year at the BlackRock Center for the Arts at 10 a.m.
• Visit Glen Echo Park’s Art Explorers Family Studio for drop-in parent/child art activities at 10 a.m.
• Adventure Theatre production of Petite Rouge, A Cajun Red Riding Hood has shows at 11 a.m., 2 and 4:30 p.m. in Glen Echo Park.
• Takoma Park’s “We Are Takoma” series presents Balloon Plays at 11 a.m.
• Imagination Stage presents Wiley and the Hairy Man at 1:30 and 4 p.m.
• Round House production of Rapture, Blister, Burn continues with shows at 3 and 8 p.m. in Bethesda
• Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club presents Joe Clair Comedy Night at 7 p.m.
• Bethesda’s annual Play in a Day performances begin at 8 p.m. at Imagination Stage. Where else can you see six original plays for $15?
• BlackRock Center for the Arts presents blues musicians Guy Davis and Eric Bibb in Germantown at 8 p.m.
• Olney Theatre’s production of Godspell continues with shows at 2 and 8 p.m.

• The Metropolitan Ballet Theatre is busy preparing for their upcoming production ofSleeping Beauty. Children ages 3 to 7 will enjoy the Sleeping Beauty Ballet Tea Partyat the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre Studios in Gaithersburg.
