Identity of Germantown Homicide Victim Released (Update)
Montgomery County Police say a reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for tips that lead to an arrest.

GERMANTOWN, MD — A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for tips that lead to the arrest of a suspect in Wednesday night’s fatal shooting in Germantown.
About 7:14 p.m. Wednesday, the Emergency Communications Center (9-1-1) received a call reporting a shooting in the 18600 block of Sage Way. Montgomery County Police and Fire Rescue personnel who responded found a man on the ground adjacent to a residence; he had apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim is identified as Robert Wayne King, 30, of Frederick. He was suffering life-threatening injuries from apparent gunshot wounds and was taken to a local trauma center, where he died from his injuries.
Homicide detectives ask anyone with information on the case to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240.773.5070.
