Man Hospitalized Following Shooting On Unity Bridge In Rockville
A man was hospitalized after being shot Sunday evening on the Jane Pontius Unity Bridge in Rockville, according to police.

ROCKVILLE, MD — A man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound he received Sunday evening on the Jane Pontius Unity Bridge, according to a post on the Rockville City Police Department's official Twitter account.
Officers responded around 6 p.m., for the report of a shooting on the bridge in the 100 block of Frederick Avenue. Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby by hospital to treated for his injuries and is expected to survive, according to police.
A preliminary investigation determined that a man wearing all black clothing, including a black mask, left the area in a blue Mazda passenger vehicle, according to police.
