Man Killed When Car Crashes into Tree: Police
The Mount Airy man died in a Clarksburg crash. Police are hoping witnesses can help explain what cause the wreck.

Montgomery County Police are working to determine what caused a fatal one-vehicle accident in Clarksburg Tuesday night.
The fatal crash occurred about 9:24 p.m. Tuesday in the 26600 block of Clarksburg Road.
Authorities say that the driver of a 2007 Ford Fusion lost control and struck a utility pole. Despite life-saving efforts, the driver, identified as Richard Pliszak, 54, of the 4500 block of Roop Road in Mount Airy, was pronounced dead.
