Man Rams CIA Gate; Upset By Orlando Attacks
The Rockville man claimed he had been recruited by the CIA and drove his Ford Focus into a gate to get the agency's attention.

Rockville, MD — A Rockville man troubled by the weekend massacre at an Orlando gay nightclub reportedly rammed his Ford Focus into a gate at CIA headquarters in Virginia, according to reports.
Thomas Luu, 35, of Rockville, has been charged with destruction of property after he allegedly struck a padlocked chain link gate with his car and then drove 75 feet into the compound at 2 a.m. June 13, the Associated Press reported citing court documents.
Luu was reportedly found kneeling with his hands behind his head, claiming that the CIA had recruited him and his actions were to get the agency's attention.

Luu’s mother told NBC Washington that her son was troubled by the shootings at Pulse nightclub in Orlando that killed 49 people and injured 53 others. The popular gay bar had a near-capacity crowd when Omar Mateen, 29, began firing on those gathered around 2 a.m. Sunday, killing many in his path before he was shot and killed by law enforcement.
Investigators say Luu drove his car through an 8-foot-tall chain link fence topped with barbed wire, while the gate is marked with no-trespassing signs.
