Man Stole Meds, Pharmaceuticals From Rockville Pharmacy: Police

A man "forcefully escorted" an employee to a different part of the pharmacy where he filled a bag with meds and then fled, police said.

ROCKVILLE, MD — A man jumped behind the counter of Rockville pharmacy Wednesday and forced an employee to take him to a different part of the pharmacy where he filled a bag with medication before fleeing, Montgomery County Police said.

Police say the robbery took place around 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday at a pharmacy on the 700 block of the Rockville Pike.

The suspect is described as being 5-foot-6 and having a thin build. Police say he was wearing an orange mask, a red hooded sweatshirt with white lettering, tan pants and black boots at the time of the robbery.
