Mayor Newton to Deliver Rockville's State of City Address

Rockville Mayor Bridget Donnell Newton will update residents on the state of the city Jan. 29.

Mayor Bridget Donnell Newton will deliver Rockville’s 2015 State of the City address on Thursday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m. at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre at Rockville Civic Center Park, 603 Edmonston Drive. The event is free and open to the public.

Newton, elected mayor in November 2013, has titled her remarks “Rockville: The City That Energizes.”

“Rockville has been, is, and will continue to be, the city that energizes Montgomery County and the State of Maryland,” said Newton. “With all sectors working together, Rockville’s potential is boundless.”

Council members Beryl L. Feinberg, Tom Moore, Virginia D. Onley and Julie Palakovich Carr will attend the address.
