A Colonel Zadok Magruder High School teacher is being investigated for allegedly having "inappropriate" contact with a student.

ROCKVILLE, MD — A Colonel Zadok Magruder High School teacher was placed on administrative leave for allegedly having "inappropriate conduct" with a student, according to a letter sent home to families.
In the letter, obtained by WJLA, Principal Leroy C. Evans said the Montgomery County Public Schools system is cooperating with the county police department and the county state's attorney's office on the matter. Neither the student nor the teacher's identity has been released.
"Law enforcement has requested that we refrain from sharing details regarding this allegation with the community to avoid prejudicing the ongoing investigation. We will provide an update to the community when we have additional information," Leroy wrote.
