Missing Gaithersburg Man Found Dead: Police
The man, who suffered from dementia, had been missing since Monday. He was found behind a Dunkin Donuts.

A Gaithersburg man with dementia who went missing from his home Monday evening has been found dead, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.
Harmohinder Bakshi, 67, of Quince Valley Court in Gaithersburg, was last seen by family at his home about 6:45 p.m. on Monday, March 9. Police and family were concerned because Bakshi has dementia and had not contacted family since that time.

Police said Wednesday morning that Bakshi’s body was found in the Quince Orchard area of Montgomery County. There is no indication of foul play.
Authorities received a call about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday reporting an unresponsive man behind the Dunkin Donuts at 12168 Darnestown Road in Gaithersburg. First responders found the victim partially obscured by a snow bank, on the ground and against a privacy fence along the property line. He was deceased, police say.

Detectives responded to the scene and the man was identified as Bakshi. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
Police earlier said Bakshi was known to frequent the businesses and shopping venues in the Kentlands area of Gaithersburg.
