Missing Rockville Teen Found Safe, Residents Call Off Search

ROCKVILLE, MD — In a Wednesday afternoon update, authorities say Lemlem Earley has been located and is safe.


(Original post) ROCKVILLE, MD — The Rockville City Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a missing Rockville teenager.

Lemlem Earley, 13, went missing Tuesday morning while on her way to Julius West Middle School. Authorities said she left her Anderson Avenue home sometime between 7 and 7:30 a.m. She never showed up to class.

Investigators describe Earley as a 5-foot-4, 115-pound female with brown eyes and long black hair, worn in crochet curls. She was possibly wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt that read "JFK50" or "NCR Trail Marathon," dark colored pants, and white tennis shoes.

Residents and local businesses have organized search parties for Lemlem.
