MOD Pizza To Open In Rockville Next Year
Fast-casual chain MOD Pizza is slated to open on Rockville Pike in the spring of 2019.

ROCKVILLE, MD — MOD Pizza, the Seattle-based, fast-casual chain, is coming to Rockville's Montrose Crossing shopping center next year. This will be MOD Pizza's second location in Montgomery County — with the first being in Silver Spring.
Located at 12021 Rockville Pike, the 3,134 square-foot store is set to join Five Guys, CAVA, Slapfish, and HoneyGrow in the spring of 2019.
The West Coast company boasts that its "artisan-style pizzas and salads are individually sized, made on demand, and ready in just minutes." Customers can choose from more than 30 toppings; and no matter how many they pick, the price will stay the same.

Federal Realty Investment Trust owns several large developments in Montgomery County, including Montrose Crossing. The shopping center replaced Timpano Italian Chophouse in 2017.
"Montrose Crossing has become one of the most popular destinations for fast-casual dining on Rockville Pike," said Dan Corwin, Director of Asset Management at Federal Realty. "We were able to convert what was one restaurant for more than 20 years into a spot for five of the hottest food concepts, and we are excited to add MOD Pizza to the mix."
