MOM's In Rockville Celebrates Company's 30-Year Anniversary
This weekend will mark a milestone for MOM's Organic Market, and Rockville is among the stores celebrating.

ROCKVILLE, MD — The Rockville-born MOM's Organic Market will celebrate its 30-year anniversary this weekend. Tastings, family activities and local environmental groups will be on tap on Sunday, July 2, at all of the store's 17 locations.
The market is known for its organic produce, sustainable seafood and array of natural body care products.
Founder Scott Nash hand-delivered his first box of organic produce in Rockville on July 2, 1987. Since then, the concept has grown to include stores in Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

"I started this company out of my mom's garage in 1987 with an initial investment of $100," Nash said in a statement about the 30-year anniversary celebration. "Thanks to our customers and employees, we're celebrating this momentous day and the efforts to make the world a better place to live!"
The anniversary celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, at all locations, including at 5566 Randolph Rd. Rockville, MD.

In Maryland, MOM's has stores in Rockville, Bowie, College Park, Frederick, Hampden, Jessup, Timonium, Waldorf and White Marsh.
