Motorcyclist Killed in Rockville Crash
Police say an elderly Rockville driver was not hurt when his BMW collided with a 19-year-old's motorcycle.

A Brookeville man died Friday following a motorcycle crash at a Rockville intersection, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.
The accident happened just before noon at the intersection of Norbeck Road and Westbury Road when a 2012 BMW 535i was turning left from eastbound Norbeck Road onto Westbury. Authorities say the BMW collided with a 2005 Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle that was westbound on Norbeck Road.
The motorcyclist was taken to Medstar Montgomery Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. The victim has been identified as Jarret Thomas Harman, 19, of the 19400 block of Rena Court in Brookeville.

The driver of the BMW is John Warren Fairbanks, 83, of the 4700 block of Jasmine Drive in Rockville. Fairbanks was not injured in the crash.
This collision remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.

Detectives ask that anyone who saw the collision call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240-773-6620. Callers may remain anonymous.
