On The Road

As of 7:28 a.m., debris was reported on the Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-495 near MD-97/Georgia Avenue, according to WTOP Traffic. [Silver Spring, MD]

As of 7:21 a.m., a crash was reported on Southern Avenue at MD-4/Pennsylvania Avenue, according to WTOP Traffic. [Suitland, MD]

As of 7:21 a.m., a disabled vehicle is blocking the right lane on eastbound US-40/West Patrick Street near Willowdale Road, according to WTOP Traffic. [Frederick, MD]

As of 7:17 a.m., a collision was reported on the Inner Loop of the Baltimore Beltway/I-695 at the Francis Scott Key Bridge, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

As of 7:15 a.m., debris is blocking the left side of the roadway on the thru lanes on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-495 just before the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, according to WTOP Traffic. [National Harbor, MD]

As of 7:10 a.m., westbound shoulder and traffic lane of MD-144 are closed between Maple Drive and Cherrydell Road, according to MDOT. [Catonsville, MD]

As of 7:09 a.m., police activity was reported on I-95 near the Maryland House Service Area, according to MDOT. [Aberdeen, MD]

As of 7:08 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on northbound US-29 after Broken Land Parkway, according to WTOP Traffic. [Columbia, MD]

As of 7:09 a.m., a crash was reported on MD-704/Martin Luther King Jr. Highway near Hill Road, according to WTOP Traffic. [Landover, MD]

As of 7:07 a.m., a crash was reported northbound on MD-202/Landover Road at Kilmer Street, according to WTOP Traffic. [Landover, MD]

As of 7:05 a.m., northbound-right shoulder and right traffic lan e of I-95 North past the exit for MD-43/White Marsh Boulevard are closed, according to MDOT. [White Marsh, MD]

As of 6:56 a.m., the northbound shoulder and both traffic lanes of MD-151 North between Sparrows Point Boulevard and Wharf Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Sparrows Point, MD]

As of 6:57 a.m., Cherry Hill Road west of Park Drive is closed in both directions due to a crash, according to WTOP Traffic. [Beltsville, MD]

As of 6:53 a.m., Eastern Avenue is closed in both directions at Sargent Road due to a crash, according to WTOP Traffic. [Takoma Park, MD]

As of 6:56 a.m., both southbound shoulders of I-395 South are closed from Conway Street to Fort McHenry Tunnel, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

As of 6:07 a.m., the southbound shoulder and traffic lane f MD-13 South past Town Point Road is closed due to roadwork, according to MDOT. [Chesapeake City, MD]

On Metro

Due to an operational issue, the following Metrobus routes may experience delays in both directions: 11C, 17K, 17M, 18P, 29G, and 92. [Washington, DC]

Metro asks riders on Metrobus Routes 32 and W4 to exercise caution at the southbound stop located on Alabama Ave, Southeast at Hartford Street while the stop is repaired. [Washington, DC]

Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]

DC Weather

Scattered showers are expected in the Washington, D.C. metro region on Friday, according to the National Weather Service. As of 7:40 a.m., the temperature was 72 degrees.

Skies are mostly cloudy over Rockville on Friday morning, with a temperature of 72, according to the AccuWeather forecast. With a 40 percent chance of rain, thunderstorms are expected to pass through the region late on Friday afternoon. Friday's high temperature will be 90 and the low 68.
